It's been raining for a couple of weeks now. I'll never complain about getting rain out here, but I hadn't been on a ride for a long time. Today I took on Telegraph again and won! The rain had packed the dirt down, which helped on the crux of the ride. Some of the times I hadn't cleared the top was due to spinning out in soft dirt on the steep section. Today the conditions were perfect: packed dirt, overcast and 80 degrees. I decided to extend the ride by adding South Rim and Sale Barn, rather than riding out Big Canyon. It was a great long ride.
Jay, Lindsey, Nola, and Lila are coming to our house for the weekend from Oklahoma. We're looking forward to seeing them. They are great people and a ton of fun. The four of us have nicknames - Ray, Libby, Sandy, and Bruce.
