Going Pro

On Sunday, Holli and I went to Purgatory for the last time this season.  With all the awesome warm weather we've had in town, I didn't expect the conditions to be any good up on the mountain.  Turns out I was wrong.  It was about as good as I've ever seen: about 6 inches of new powder and nobody on the mountain.  We had a blast. 

Firsts for Holli:
  • Made it all the way to lift 8 on the backside of the mountain to eat at Dante's
  • Went down the terrain park several times where the big jumps and rail slides are
  • Went down her first black diamond run - 3 times!

    That sounds awesome. Love fresh powder and an empty mountain. I can't believe that Holli is already doing blacks on skis. That is amazingly awesome. Next season, the 6 of us are going together for sure.
