Riding around Durango

Yesterday after work, Bill and I had an awesome dirt bike ride up the north side of Cherry Creek over to Madden Peak.  From the top you could see the whole 4 Corners, right over Mesa Verde to Shiprock and all over the place.  Incredible ride; I didn't know dirt bikes could be so much fun.

Then today at lunch, I went and rode my mountain bike around 'Test Track' (specifically Ned's Hill > Grabens Loop > Star Wars > Ella Vita).  On both yesterday's dirt bike ride and today's mountain bike ride, I never ran into another person out there.  That's amazing to me because those trails are so awesome that they should be charging to be on them, and here we have them right in our back yard.

Today after work, our family gets to go to our weekly block party with a bunch of great neighbors.  How lucky we all are.  If this life is a dream, I hope I don't wake up for a long time!
