Full Week of Riding

On Monday we took Holli to get her signed up for Kindergarten.  She seems so grown up and it's amazing to think that she's going to be at this school for many years to come.  Looks like a great school.  We're all scared and excited!

Other than Monday, I've ridden every day this week.  The weather has been awesome this week for being outside.

• Tuesday was a ride with Dan from Sale Barn->South Rim->Carbon Junction.
• Wednesday was a solo ride around Durango Mountain Park.  There are tons of trails there.  It's fun just to go get lost up there and see where you come out.  Quite a bit of climbing involved in some parts.
• Thursday I went up Horse Gulch to the Meadow Loop->Stacy's Loop->Mike's Loop->Cuchillo.  I literally received a standing ovation when I topped out at Mike's.  I rode past a couple of people pushing their bike's up, and there were more of their group up at the top sitting down.  When I was huffing and puffing to get up there, they were all fist pumping and cheering.  It's a pretty hard climb because it's so darn steep; but it's not technical like the evil Telegraph peak.
• Friday my knee was hurting from Thursday's ride, but I went on out and did my favorite ride: Horse Gulch->Telegraph->Sidewinder->Cowboy->Big Canyon.  I didn't make the top of Telegraph clean, but got it on the second try and had a good ride anyway.
